she kept callin’ him…

she kept callin’ him…askin’…,how’s it goin’…whatcha up to…where ya’ been…, always real nice…kept sayin things like…,can’t wait ta’ see ya’…it’s been too long…I’ll keep the light on…,he’d just growl as he hung-up…

she kept callin’ him…tellin’ him…,I got a date tonight…he’s not as good lookin’ as you…not as smart…not as sophisticated…, he’d get off the phone and lay in bed for days on-end thinking of nothing but the need to be alone…

she kept callin’ him…requesting his presence at her downtown loft…the swanky part of town…away from the poverty he lived-in…,come spend a couple of days with me honey…,she’d say…,you won’t be sorry…don’t ya’ want some homecookin’…don’t ya’ want your baby to take care of ya’…,he suffered in silence…

she kept callin’ him…bein’ sweet as honey…gettin’ to the point of it all…usin’ words like romance…love…forever…

he stopped answerin’ the phone…

The writing is based on my surroundings and what I've been surrounded by. This language is coarse and politically incorrect; which I make no apologies for. These characters are not nice and to use any other dialogue would be disingenuine. That being said, I choose to roll the dice. dm seay
